The 2nd International Conference on Environment and Climate Action 2026, ICECA 2026, will bring together researchers, students, professionals, policymakers, and environmental advocates to discuss urgent environmental challenges and climate action. Organized by the Environmental Sciences Program at Asian University for Women, the conference focuses on women-led leadership, sustainable solutions, and inspiring action for a greener world.
Environmental Sciences Program
The Environmental Sciences Program at Asian University for Women focuses on environmental knowledge, sustainability, climate awareness, and practical action. It prepares students to understand environmental challenges and contribute to solutions for a better future.
Green Bangle Movement
The Green Bangle Project is a student-led environmental movement at Asian University for Women that empowers women through ecofeminism while protecting Bangladesh’s coastal ecosystems. Bringing together AUW students from 18 Asian countries and local women in Sitakunda Upazila, the initiative combats climate change through mangrove restoration, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable eco-enterprises. The “Green Bangle” symbolises the strength of women creating a protective green barrier for vulnerable coastal communities.
